Why Choose Absolute Sense?

The first thing to note is that we listen to what our clients want; what their needs are and what their objectives are because we always put the customer at the centre of everything we do.

We are fully qualified and experienced Independent Financial Advisers and therefore we are free to advise on financial products available from the entire market to ensure that we match the most suitable products to your needs. We are supported by advanced computer software to research, compare and select the most suitable deals currently available and as there are literally thousands of products to choose from we are able to make arrangements to maximize the benefits to you whilst saving you time.

Depending on your instructions we will carry out an analysis based on your current situation, after taking into account any specific plans and/or targets you may have. You will receive professional advice about where your financial arrangements are already good, and where they’re inadequate. We will assess your existing financial situation and needs before reaching a realistic view of your likely immediate and future needs. For this, you’ll need to set aside some time but the first half-hour consultation is free. We will then advise you on anything from a short term financial objective to a lifetime financial plan, followed up with regular reviews.

You’ll also have our help to decide how much provision you need to make and of course it will all be sensibly balanced in relation to your current income and affordability. All our proposals will be fully explained and priced so that you’ll know exactly what and why we have made the recommendation before you agree

What is Independent Financial Advice?

Firms providing financial advice can offer products from:

  • The whole of the market
  • A limited number of product providers
  • A single product provider

Independent Financial Advice offers advice on financial products from the whole of the market and so they are not limited or tied to any particular provider. Independent Financial Advisers offer true independent advice and are obliged to offer their clients the option to pay a fee for advice as an alternative to commission.

Independent Financial Advisers are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (F.C.A.).

Individuals and businesses commonly consult Independent Financial Advisers on a wide range of financial planning matters including pensions and retirement planning, savings and investment, mortgages and protection. Some I.F.A. practices specialise in areas such as commercial finance (commercial finance is not regulated by the FCA), life time mortgages and specialist investment advice such as Buy to Let purchase.

Are you looking to retire?

Are you concerned whether you are getting value for money from your pension investments?

There are many factors that are impacting upon the ultimate retirement income that consumers expect to receive once they retire.  One reason is due to the fact that generally people are living longer and therefore pension savings are expected to provide an income for a longer period. Equally, just a few years ago the interest rates governing the annuity payment were much higher than they are today.  These are amongst two of the factors that are impacting on retirement incomes.  There are others which are not so evident but many customers are still not taking advice when it comes to deciding on the best options avilable to them.  One simple message is that most consumers believe that they have to take the pension income that is being offered from the pension provider that they have saved with all their lives.  This is not true as often the income can be significantly increased by exploring the open market option.  For details of the open market option available to all consumers please contact Absolute Sense IFA Ltd.

Government Proposals for Auto-enrollment into Pension Savings

At Absolute Sense IFA Ltd we have been advising our business clients for some time now that they should be prepared for the changes that have been launched with regard to auto-enrollment for their employees into pension savings.  These reforms are now well under way and will impact upon all businesses that employ staff as they start to take effect from 2012 onwards. Can your business afford to ignore these reforms?  It will add an immediate 3% of your payroll costs to your overall costs and your staff will be expected to contribute 4% of their own salary.  For more details contact Absolute Sense IFA Ltd.
